Sullivan County Health Department reports no new cases of COVID-19 for the first time since May, 2020
The Sullivan County Health Department reported zero active COVID-19 cases as of February 26th. The department reports this was the first time there have been no active cases since May 1, 2020, when the first positive case was reported for Sullivan County. There have been 849 confirmed cases since that time and 15 COVID-19-related deaths.

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Spickard man on February 25th. Fifty-three-year-old Richard Tharp was arrested for. failure to appear in court on misdemeanor property damage.
