Burn ban issued for Grundy County
With the drought escalating into extreme conditions in portions of northern Missouri, Grundy County has now been added to the list of those instituting burn bans. The Grundy County Commission on Thursday has instituted a burn ban to take effect immediately for Grundy County until such times as conditions improve.
Sullivan County authorities institute burn ban
With northern Missouri entering into a stage of extreme drought, another burn ban has been announced. The fire chiefs of Sullivan County have approved a burn ban for Sullivan County due to dryness and heat conditions. The burn ban will continue until further notice.
