The Chillicothe City Council approved one hiring during an executive session this week. Andrew Perkins was hired as a full-time 911 dispatcher on a unanimous vote. Chillicothe Police Department Office Manager Cindy Hanavan says Perkins began his position today. (Thursday, June 13, 2019)

A Novinger couple was killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident at Monroe City, in Marion County.
