Princeton Fire Chief Tony Johnson has issued a burn ban for the City of Princeton. Princeton City Clerk Danette Snapp says the burn ban follows the Mercer County burn ban which was issued by the Mercer County Commission this week. The ban on open outdoor burning continues until further notice.

The Livingston County Commission will hold a tax hearing during one of its meetings next week. The commission will meet at the courthouse in Chillicothe Tuesday and Thursday starting at 9:30 each morning. The tax hearing is on Thursday’s agenda at 11 o’clock.
