The Grundy County Commission Tuesday morning proclaimed March as Developmental Disability Awareness Month. The commissioners urge citizens to give support to efforts toward enabling citizens with developmental disabilities to live productive lives and maximize their potential. The proclamation states that more than 100,000 individuals in Missouri have developmental disabilities.
Grundy County sales tax collections ahead of last year
Grundy County sales tax collections for the first three months of the year are more than $14,200 greater than this time last year for general revenue, ambulance, and law enforcement. Collections total more than $55,400 for each for March with total collections for the year thus far more than $116,000 for each category.
