Boil Advisory

Boil advisory issued for portion of Livingston County

Livingston County Public Water Supply District Four has issued a precautionary boil advisory for water customers throughout the district. The boil advisory for drinking and cooking water is effective until further notice. The advisory was caused by a pump failure resulting in an outage. Efforts were being made for pump repairs or, if necessary, replacement.

Patrol reports arrest of Milan man

The highway patrol reports a Milan resident was arrested Saturday afternoon. Twenty-seven-year-old Andrew Lemire was accused of failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in a motor vehicle crash, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, and driving while intoxicated. Lemire was taken to the Sullivan County Jail.
