A spokesman for Serve Mercer County, Abner Neill, reports a total of 14 projects were completed Sunday at various locations in the county. He also reported there were 91 people who volunteered. Serve Mercer County is described as an initiative to help elderly neighbors and others in need with cleanup and beautification efforts.
The Green Hills Women’s Shelter in Trenton provides support to domestic violence victims in a ten-county area including Grundy, Livingston, Harrison, Daviess, Putnam, Sullivan, Mercer, Caldwell, Clinton, and DeKalb.
