Illinois man arrested in Caldwell County

The Highway Patrol reports the arrest of a Hamilton, Illinois man in Caldwell County Saturday morning on a warrant for speeding and no valid license. The misdemeanor warrant for 54-year-old Richard Hartweg was out of Clark County. The Patrol also accused him of speeding. Hartweg was transported to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.

Several defendants have waived preliminary hearings in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court. The cases, on various charges, were bound over to the Division One docket of Thursday, June 14th or Thursday, July 12th.
