Andrea Lea Kern, 65, of Martinsville, MO, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at a hospital in Cameron, MO.
Born on December 12, 1958, in Bethany, MO, she was the daughter of Al Jr. and Phyllis (Musick) Malcolm. Andrea graduated from South Harrison High School in 1977 and enjoyed attending auctions, shopping, and spending time with her beloved dogs and cats.
On July 8, 2005, she married Harold Kern, who survives at home. Andrea’s life was marked by the joy she found in her family, including her daughters, Sarah and Elizabeth Francis (married to Dusty); son, Matthew Francis; stepchildren, Kelly (married to Colton), Sue-Ellen (married to James), and John Kern (married to Krista). She was a cherished grandmother to Bricen, Rudy, Anna, and Maggie, and step-grandmother to Oliver, Oakley, Hazel, Donald, and Kate.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Anita Osmon and Virginia Meek; and a niece, Mindy Meek. She is also survived by her brother, Richard (married to Barb) Malcolm.
Graveside services and burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at Lilly Cemetery in Ridgeway, MO, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
