The Laredo R-7 school has made an announcement about in-person attendance. Because of an increasing number of COVID-19 cases and quarantine involving students and adults, the Laredo school was not in session on Thursday, November 12, 2020. A decision was made Wednesday night to transition to distance learning for the Laredo Elementary School.
The Jamesport City Council this week approved keeping the employee health insurance policy as is. City Clerk Shelley Page reported a 50% discount was given on the water company’s September bill due to water loss during tower maintenance. The discount added up to $2,714.60.
