The highway patrol reports a Milan resident was arrested Saturday afternoon. Twenty-seven-year-old Andrew Lemire was accused of failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in a motor vehicle crash, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, and driving while intoxicated. Lemire was taken to the Sullivan County Jail.
The judge in Division One of Grundy County Circuit Court handed down sentences, including probation to defendants in the Thursday session of Division One. Forty-year-old Brandon Young and accused of failure to register as a sex offender, displaying plates of another person, no proof of insurance, not wearing a seat belt, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
