Bob Sayer, aged 72, of Lathrop, MO, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO.
Born on June 9, 1951, Bob was the son of Robert and Josephine (Alexander) Sayer in Dickson, TN. He was raised in Meadville, MO, and graduated from Meadville High School in 1969. On February 25, 1972, Bob married Linda Kaye Caselman in Chillicothe, MO. He dedicated 31 years of service to Ford Motor Company and was a committed member of UAW Local 249 and Lathrop Baptist Church. Bob’s presence will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Robby Sayer; and his siblings, Donald Sayer, Terry Sayer, and Edith Bartlett. He is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home; his daughter, Sandy Britt (David) of Liberty, MO; grandchildren, Brody and Cooper; and his brother, Roy Sayer (Beverly) of Brookfield, MO. Many other extended family members also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Cameron Development Center, care of the funeral home. A graveside service to honor Bob’s life is scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Evergreen Cemetery in Cameron, MO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop.
