Driver examination stations to close for November holidays
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reminds the public that driver examination stations will close for holidays this month. The exam stations will close November 12th in observance of Veterans Day and November 22nd and 23rd in observance of Thanksgiving. Normal operations will resume November 13th after Veterans Day and November 26th after Thanksgiving.
Livingston County Sheriff reports hiring of new deputy
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reports the hiring of a new deputy. Jay Shirley of Utica began his job Monday with primary duties at the courthouse performing security and duties as court bailiff. Shirley recently retired as a corporal with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, where he worked nearly 29 years.
