An Indianola, Iowa, resident was clocked driving 64 miles per hour in a 45-mph zone on Highway 65 in Trenton on Friday.
Following a traffic stop, the highway patrol charged 68-year-old Anthony Alexander with alleged possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of meth paraphernalia—listed as a pipe—driving while his license was revoked or suspended, and a speeding violation.
Bond is set at $50,000 cash, with Alexander scheduled to appear on May 14 in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court.
