The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and Trenton Police reported the collection of 216 pounds of unwanted medications, which will be submitted to the Drug Enforcement Administration for proper disposal.
The “Take Back Drugs” day, a national initiative, took place on Saturday.
People can always deposit old and unused medications in the receptacle box available 24/7 just inside the vestibule at the Grundy County Law Enforcement Center.
