Woman ejected from motorcycle in crash near Gallatin

On Saturday, April 27, at approximately 12:05 p.m., a single-vehicle accident occurred on Route DD, about five miles northwest of Gallatin, Missouri.

Emilia R. Galbraith, a 45-year-old woman from Hamilton, Missouri, was injured when her 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the east side of the roadway, and overturned, resulting in her ejection.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports indicate that Galbraith was wearing safety equipment at the time of the accident. She was transported by Daviess County Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment of her injuries.

The motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene by a private individual.

The patrol was assisted by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
