The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and the Trenton Police Department are set to participate in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Drug Take Back Day. Scheduled for April 27, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Both the sheriff’s office and the police department will be accepting unwanted and outdated prescription medications. These can be dropped off at the law enforcement center in Trenton. The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office has also highlighted that residents have the option to leave their prescriptions in a dropbox located within the law enforcement center at any time, available 24/7.
