Kearney and Saint Louis residents enter U.S. Representative and Senator race

Candidates filed on Monday to run for the office of U.S. Representative for District 6 and U.S. Senator.

Andy Maidment of Kearney filed for U.S. Representative for District 6 as a Libertarian. Previous filings included Republicans Freddie Griffin Jr., Brandon Kleinmeyer, incumbent Sam Graves, and Weldon Wray Woodward, and Democrats Erik Richardson, Rich Gold, and Pam May.

Mita Biswas of Saint Louis filed for U.S. Senator as a Democrat. Previous filings included Democrats Karla May, December Harmon, and Lucas Kunce; Libertarian W.C. Young; and Republican incumbent Josh Hawley.

Candidate filing will go until March 26 at 5 p.m.
