The area hiring event scheduled at the Trenton Rock Barn on April 3 has been canceled due to another hiring event planned in the area soon after. Cathy Scott from the Trenton Job Center mentioned that the job center will explore the possibility of holding another hiring event in the future.
The Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce and the Grand River Technical School of Chillicothe are set to host a career fair at the Mervyn W. Jenkins Expo Building in Chillicothe on April 10.
Setup will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the career fair will run from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Lunch will be provided to attendees.
This event offers businesses a unique opportunity to connect with job seekers, conduct speed interviews, and offer internships or apprenticeships.
Businesses interested in participating in the career fair on April 10 should register online before April 5. The online registration link is available on the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page and its website.
