Lightning causes fire in southern Mercer County
Lightning is attributed to a fire which extensively burned a large bale of hay late Saturday afternoon. The location was in a pasture along Karma Lane in southern Mercer County about 10 miles northwest of Spickard. Spickard Fire Protection District firefighters were on the scene briefly.
