Princeton High School junior Sierra Bruse auditioned and was selected to the 2017 Northwest All-District Choir as a soprano. The audition was held Saturday at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
Sierra prepared a solo and was also required to sight-read music at the audition. In addition to being a student in the Princeton Music Department, she studies privately under George Brundage.
The northwest all district choir is made up of about 160 singers and will perform a concert after a day of rehearsal on October 28th at Platte County High School. Sierra will also be auditioning for Missouri All-State Choir on that date.
The Northwest Music District consists of schools on and west of Highway 65 and on and north of a line from Carrollton to Platte City.
