The Chillicothe Police Department was busy over the weekend responding to 239 calls for service. Here are some highlights from the weekend’s calls.
Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Jackson St. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested Jesse Lee Stottlemyre for domestic assault 4th degree. Stottlemyre was processed at the Police Department. He was transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.
Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash at Second St. and Elm St. A vehicle driven by Lesley A. Patek collided with a vehicle driven by Maelaina R. Vanfossen after Vanfossen pulled in the path of Patek. Moderate damage was reported.
Officers arrested Mickaela Storm Hartman on an active arrest warrant out of Chillicothe for failure to obey judge’s order/contempt in the 600 block of Walnut St. Hartman was processed at the Police Department. She posted the required $141.00 cash only bond and was released.
Officers took a report of a possible order of protection violation.
Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury private property traffic crash in the 100 block of W. Bus. 36. A vehicle driven by Robert L. Evans collided with a parked vehicle owned by Avis Rent a Car Systems which had been operated by Rebecca R. Biegel. Minor damage was reported.
Officers took a report of tampering with mail in the 1100 block of Calhoun St. The investigation is on-going.
Officers were dispatched to a possible verbal threat made of bodily harm in the area of Graves St. and Green St. Officers arrested Trevor James Petree for minor visibly intoxicated. Petree was processed at the Police Department. He was released pending a court appearance. Officers also contacted two juveniles. The incident will be forwarded to the Livingston County Juvenile Office.
