The highway patrol reports a Chillicothe resident was arrested Saturday evening in Livingston County. Thirty-eight-year-old Randy Campbell was accused of driving while intoxicated/drugs, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana. Campbell was released to Hedrick Medical Center.

Gilman City Board of Education approves holding Summer School
The Gilman City R-4 Board of Education has approved holding Summer School. Bookkeeper Tori Wideman reports Summer School is scheduled for May 20th through June 4th. In an executive session, Melody Prescott was hired as the Special Education director. Current and tenure teachers were also hired. Raises are to be decided at a later date.
