Patrol reports the arrest of two over the weekend

The patrol reports an Independence man, 21-year0old Sonny Stanley, was arrested early Sunday in Clinton County and accused of felony counts of possessing marijuana and a controlled substance.

Stanley also was accused of possession of drug paraphernalia and exceeding the posted speed limit. He was taken to the Clinton County sheriff’s office.

A Cameron resident, 26-year-old Jacob Holder, was arrested Saturday night in DeKalb County and accused of possessing methamphetamine. There was also a Smithville Police Department misdemeanor warrant accusing marijuana possession.
