Crash in Randolph County leaves two with injuries

An accident occurred on the afternoon of March 30, 2024, on Route YY near County Road 2322 in Randolph County, Missouri. A 2023 Hyundai Tucson, driven by Daisy Roque, 30, from Macon, Missouri, was involved in a single-vehicle mishap that resulted in minor injuries to both the driver and her passenger.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Hyundai Tucson was traveling east when it veered off the left side of the road, collided with a sign, and overturned in a ditch. Both occupants of the vehicle, Daisy Roque and Albien Tubongbanua, 38, from Kirksville, Missouri, sustained minor injuries despite wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.

Emergency services, including the Randolph County Ambulance, responded to the scene. The injured were transported to Moberly Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The vehicle suffered moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Palmatory’s Towing.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol, along with assistance from Corporal Kindle, Trooper Harrison, and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene of the crash.
