The Highway Patrol arrested two Independence residents in Caldwell County the morning of December 17th on drug-related allegations.
Twenty-seven-year-old Hannah Kennedy was accused of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Thirty-year-old Johnny Beauregard was accused of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia—prior drug offense as well as driving while suspended.
Both were taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.
