Angelia “Angie” Rae Fry, age 58, a lifelong resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Angie was born the daughter of Gary Dale and Charlotte Sue (Snider) Goddard on August 6, 1965, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She graduated from Braymer High School in 1983. She was united in marriage to Brian Fry on November 23, 1992, in Caldwell County, Missouri. He survives at their home. Angie worked as the manager at Dollar General in Braymer for many years and was a mentor for numerous other Dollar General locations. She previously served as the manager at Casey’s in Braymer and Polo.

Angie enjoyed crafting, gardening, planting flowers, especially sunflowers, and spending time with her beloved pets, Chevy, Axle, and Taz. Known for her outgoing personality, Angie never met a stranger and had a talent for making anyone laugh. Her family was her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Angie is survived by her son, Brian Fry, Jr., of Braymer, Missouri; two grandchildren, Haeleigh and Brantley Crowden; her mother, Charlotte Soper of Milford, Nebraska; two brothers, Corey Soper of Milford, Nebraska, and William Soper and his wife, Mandy, of Dorchester, Nebraska; her mother-in-law, Virginia Fry of Polo, Missouri; three sisters-in-law, Debby Misel of Polo, Missouri, Julie Phillips (Rick Reeves) of Polo, Missouri, and Jennifer Ritter and her husband, Jeff, of Polo, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Daniel Fry and his wife, Denise, of Braymer, Missouri; one aunt, JoAnna Moore of Liberty, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Madison Misel, Mason Misel, Josie Misel, Jade Misel, Kadee Newhouse, Zack Phillips, Dylan Fry, Disney Fry, Lexi Ritter, Lukas Ritter, Sanora Rae Soper, Shala Lynn Soper, Elanora Jo Soper, and Lillian Kay Soper; several great-nephews; one great-niece on the way; and cousins, Michelle and Cherisse. Her close friends include Marsha Wilson of Braymer, Missouri, Teena Camerillo of Cameron, Missouri; Jon Foreman, Rondy Fansher, Sylvia Fitzwater, and Robin Fitzwater all of Braymer, Missouri, Laura Powers of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Ramona Reed of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Dale Goddard; stepfather, Bill Lynn Soper; paternal grandmother, Martha Maxine (Forbes) Goddard; paternal grandfather, John Henry Goddard; maternal grandmother, Lela Fay (Elliott) Snider; maternal grandfather, Joseph Henry Snider; uncle, Dennis Goddard; and two brothers-in-law, Jim Fry and Greg Misel.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, Missouri.
