Friday competition results from the Missouri FFA Convention

In additional results from career development or judging contests, during the Missouri FFA Convention Friday, the Trenton FFA chapter had a team take 2nd place in the state, trailing 1st place Eldon in the category of agriculture sales. Chillicothe was 24th out of 48 teams.

The highest ranking individuals for Trenton in ag sales were Hannah Persell 2nd and Jayden Roeder 3rd. Other team members are Tyler Kidd (24th) and Lauren Dolan (34th)

Princeton finished 4th and Trenton was 6th in the judging of meats. A team from Grundy R-5 of Galt was 24th. Online results from the Missouri FFA show 48 teams competed in meats.

Individually, Princeton students Brylee Williams, Kylie Willet, and Vivian Allen finished 11th, 14th, and 17th respectively. The highest ranking students from the Trenton FFA for meats judging were Latorrie Johnson 13th and Payden Gibson was 23rd. Others on the Trenton team were Melea Farmer (31st) and Teresa Burkholder (61st).

In dairy cattle judging Friday, area teams that ranked high included Braymer 6th, Trenton 8th, North Harrison 9th, and Princeton 11th out of 60 schools that were entered. For individual judging, Shelby Davies of Braymer was 5th and Lola Breshear of North Harrison at Eagleville was 6th. The highest finish by a Trenton student in dairy cattle judging was 20th by Grace Allen.
