Friday competition results from the Missouri FFA Convention

In additional results from career development or judging contests, during the Missouri FFA Convention Friday, the Trenton FFA chapter had a team take 2^nd place in the state, trailing 1^st place Eldon in the category of agriculture sales. Chillicothe was 24^th out of 48 teams.

The highest ranking individuals for Trenton in ag sales were Hannah Persell 2nd and Jayden Roeder 3^rd. Other team members are Tyler Kidd (24^th) and Lauren Dolan (34th)

Princeton finished 4^th and Trenton was 6^th in the judging of meats. A team from Grundy R-5 of Galt was 24^th. Online results from the Missouri FFA show 48 teams competed in meats.

Individually, Princeton students Brylee Williams, Kylie Willet, and Vivian Allen finished 11^th, 14^th, and 17^th respectively. The highest ranking students from the Trenton FFA for meats judging were Latorrie Johnson 13^th and Payden Gibson was 23^rd. Others on the Trenton team were Melea Farmer (31^st) and Teresa Burkholder (61^st).

In dairy cattle judging Friday, area teams that ranked high included Braymer 6^th, Trenton 8^th, North Harrison 9^th, and Princeton 11^th out of 60 schools that were entered. For individual judging, Shelby Davies of Braymer was 5^th and Lola Breshear of North Harrison at Eagleville was 6^th. The highest finish by a Trenton student in dairy cattle judging was 20^th by Grace Allen.
