The Chillicothe Area Arts Council invites the community to the 2nd Annual Hymn Sing & Praise event this Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
The evening’s program will be led by Mary Lou VanDeventer and Janet VanDeventer-Fraser, with musical accompaniment by pianists Dr. James Cockman III and Jamie Pauls, bass guitarist Jan VanDeventer, and drummer Rodney Keller. The event will commence with hymn singing, followed by a brief intermission, and will conclude with a Praise & Worship session. Attendees are encouraged to join in the singing, as lyric booklets will be available.
Admission to the event is free, although donations are welcomed to help cover the associated costs. The Chillicothe Area Arts Council looks forward to sharing a reflective and inspiring evening with all who attend.
