Famed violin player Shoji Tabuchi (Show-jee Tuh-BOOCH-ee), a staple of the Branson performance scene in southwest Missouri, is playing for the first time since his theater closed last year due to fire damage. Fellow venue owner Clay Cooper says it’s an honor to have the iconic musician playing at his Clay Cooper Theater.
He’s playing Christmas themed shows at the Clay Cooper Theater. Tina Cooper noted the damage to Tabuchi’s theater was a setback for the celebrated performer.
Tabuchi, who is highly respected in entertainment circles, is thought to be reopening his theater in southwest Missouri’s Branson early next year.
