Trenton Police Department reports 136 nuisance incidents as of October 23

The Trenton Police Department reports 136 nuisance incidents have been reported for the year so far, as of October 23. That is nine more than what was reported through September 25 and 55 fewer than what was reported from January through October 24, 2022.

A nuisance summary shows the highest number of complaints this year involved grass and weeds, with 61. There were 54 complaints involving trash and debris, 17 regarding unregistered vehicles, and four dealing with the open storage of a disabled vehicle.

Forty-one incidents are active, 68 have been cleared, and 27 have been prosecuted. There are six nuisance-related cases on the court docket.
