Trenton High School Gilded will present a spoof of Agatha Christie’s “And Then There Were None” on April 27. The play, titled “And Then There Was One,” will be staged at the Trenton Performing Arts Center at 3 p.m.

The synopsis provided by the play’s publisher describes it as a story where ten individuals are lured to the Reef Mansion on an isolated island by a mysterious invitation. The guests do not know the host, who remains elusive throughout. An ominous recording left by the host forewarns the guests of impending doom.

As the play unfolds, chocolate soldiers on the mantel disappear one by one, mirroring the guests’ demise. Among the attendees is Inspector Miles, who finds himself perplexed and unable to determine the murderer’s identity.

General admission is priced at $8 for adults and $5 for students for the performance of “And Then There Was One” on April 27.
