Princeton R-5 student Emma Walkup has won the Mercer County Spelling Bee and earned a spot at the Regional Spelling Bee in Saint Joseph.
Walkup correctly spelled the word docile in Round 8 of the Mercer County Bee and then won by spelling courteous in Round 9.
