Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education approves salary increases for staff

The Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education approved salary increases for the certified and non-certified salary schedules at their latest meeting.

The certified salary schedule was increased by one percent. Superintendent David Probasco says the base pay will go from $29,909 to $30,208. The non-certified salary schedule was increased by two and a half percent.

The board approved benefit updates for 2020-2021 as presented by the administration, which included increasing the defined health insurance contribution from $483.25 to $500.00.

A bid was accepted from Conrad and Higgins to perform the financial audit for 2020-2021 for $5,650.00.

Wagner Photography was selected to handle school pictures for 2020-2021. Probasco notes the district does not pay the photographer, and the price for pictures will be paid by the customers.

A Missouri School Boards Association update was approved as presented by the administration.

After an executive session, it was announced the board renewed tenured teachers and the list of non-tenured teachers as presented by the administration.
