Chillicothe police on Saturday night responded to the 200 block of South Washington regarding a reported assault.
A person was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
Chillicothe Assistant Police Chief Rick Sampsel said information was obtained on a suspect, and charges of domestic assault were being sought.
No names were released by authorities.
