The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports a Trenton resident turned himself in on Wednesday on a capias warrant for failure to appear in court, and a Galt resident was arrested on Tuesday.

Twenty-five-year old Ayrik Armand Redden is accused of failing to appear on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid.  Redden posted bond of $5,000, 10% as approved by law, and he is scheduled for Division One of Circuit Court March 12th.

Thirty-three-year-old Adam Davis Davidson has been charged with felony second degree tampering with a utility meter—second and subsequent offense. His bond is $1,500 cash only, and he is scheduled for the Associate Division of Circuit Court on February 25th.

Court documents accuse Davidson of tampering with a utility and water meter or causing one to be tampered with, owned by the City of Galt at 207 Northwest Border Street in Galt, by installing jumpers into the electric box and cutting the lock on the water meter, which prevented proper measuring and/or permitted the diversion of electric and water service.
