A report by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department outlines a series of traffic stops, investigations, and arrests throughout April 2024.
Incident Reports:
April 5: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a pickup truck not bearing a front license plate in the 400 block of Washington Street. Michael McCormick, 21, of Breckenridge, was issued a citation for lacking insurance. A Missouri license plate, expiring in October 2018, was seized and returned to the Missouri Department of Revenue.
April 11: LCSO launched an investigation into an alleged sex offender residing in a restricted area without registering a new address. The investigation is ongoing.
On the same day, LCSO received a report of a forged check from a resident of Chula. This investigation is also ongoing.
April 13: Responding to a call in the 3rd Street Bottoms, deputies documented property damage to a pickup truck, allegedly caused by gravel thrown by another vehicle. The incident report has been filed for possible future criminal charges.
April 16: A report of a dog bite in the 7000 block of LIV 237 was filed. The bite was inflicted by the complainant’s own dog, and the report was forwarded to the Livingston County Health Department.
April 17: Two incidents were reported on this day. The first involved property damage in the 100 block of Brick Road in Utica, with the suspect still unknown. The second was a theft report from south of Ludlow concerning stolen farm equipment, with suspects yet to be identified.
April 20: LCSO assisted in locating a suspect involved in a domestic disturbance. The individual was found in the 10000 block of LIV 2306.
Arrests:
April 12: A deputy stopped a vehicle on U.S. Highway 36 near State Highway C due to an equipment violation. Efrain Mendez was arrested on a Linn County Arrest Warrant for a past traffic violation. After posting bond, Mendez was released with a new court date in Linn County, Missouri.
April 17: Jodi Greene, 24, of Chillicothe, was arrested on a Caldwell County, Missouri arrest warrant in the 2700 block of Washington Street. Greene was unable to post the $500 bond and was transferred to Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.
April 22: Shane Glasgow, 37, of Chillicothe, was arrested during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 65 south of Chillicothe for outstanding warrants, felony driving while revoked, and possession of a controlled substance. Glasgow was processed and transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.
