Audio: Trenton Rotary Club to present Trenton’s Got Talent

The Trenton Rotary Club will present Trenton’s Got Talent in the Trenton High School Gym the night of March 24th at 7 o’clock.

The event will showcase youth ages three through college age and will be emceed by Trenton High School graduates Amy Currie and Jeff Binney.

The money raised from the event will go towards buying equipment for an inclusive playground.

Friends of the Trenton Parks Foundation President Kara Helmandollar describes the inclusive playground.

 

 

Rotary Club member Teresa Cross says the club applied for a $3,000 district grant.

 

 

Cross adds the club will work with the Trenton Park Board on the project.

Rotary Club member Melissa King says she believes performing at Trenton’s Got Talent will help the performers in several ways.

 

 

Tickets for the show may be purchased at the door for $5.

Desserts will be available and are included in the price of admission with the Key Club helping with a 50-50 raffle as well.

Individuals and groups wanting to participate need to register by March 19th by calling King at 660-359-1827.
