City Administrator Ron Urton is reminding Trenton Municipal Utility customers that the next increase in the water rates takes effect on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, and will be reflected on bills received in May.
Urton explained the increase of eight and a half percent (8 1/2%) was previously approved by the City Council and he also discussed the condition of the water’s safety.
On another subject, Urton said the new disinfection process for the water treatment plant goes into effect as required tomorrow the first of April. He also provided an update on the Headworks building at the wastewater (sewer) plant.
