Annual Unionville Lions Country Music Festival set to kick off on June 10, 2021

Free activities are being held at the Unionville City Park/fairgrounds through June 12 for the 13th Annual Unionville Lions Country Music Festival.

June 10th’s activities include a potluck meal at the Lions Building at 5 o’clock. Everyone is invited to bring a dish. Drinks will be provided. There will be Gospel music in the 4-H Building starting at 6 o’clock.

June 11th will include open stage jamming at the 4-H Building from 10 o’clock to noon and shows from 1 to 5 o’clock and 6 to 10 o’clock.  A farmers market will be on the square on June 12th from 7 to 11 o’clock. There will also be a tractor and old engine show will be in the park on June 12th at 8 o’clock, open stage jamming at the 4-H Building from 10 o’clock to noon, and shows from 1 to 5 o’clock and 6 to 10 o’clock. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served on June 11th and 12th. Refreshments will be available each day.

Unionville Lions Country Music Festival attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs. Air conditioning will be available.  Camping, showers, and restrooms are also available. Jennifer’s interest in radio began at a young age. She started as a news reporter at KTTN in January 2017, but previously worked almost a year and a half as an on-air announcer and with news at the NPR affiliate KXCV/KRNW, which serves Northwest Missouri. Jennifer was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. She received a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media: Broadcast Production with an Emphasis in Audio Production from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.
