The Trenton Police Department advises that 2022 animal licenses are available at Trenton City Hall.
All animals in the city are required to have an annual animal license purchased for them. An animal owner must have a certificate from a duly licensed veterinarian that shows the animal has been inoculated for rabies and pay a $5 fee to the Trenton city clerk.
The police report failure to purchase and keep the animal license secured on the body of the animal could result in fines and court costs for the owner.
