Trenton man arrested for probation violation and contempt

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of Lloyd Wayne Shaver, a 35-year-old resident of Trenton, on a capias warrant due to a probation violation and a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court. The arrest was made by Probation and Parole on April 23.

Shaver is accused of violating his probation which stemmed from an original felony forgery charge. The bond for this probation violation has been set at $15,000, cash only. He is scheduled to appear in Division One of the Grundy County Circuit Court on May 16. Additionally, a bond of $7,500, cash only, has been set for the contempt of court charge. He will appear in the Associate Division on May 14 regarding this charge.

Court documents allege that Shaver disobeyed a court order, which mandated no contact with an alleged victim, by being present at the victim’s house on April 15.
