The Trenton Park Department has announced additional closings of park facilities in response to the coronavirus concerns and requests for social distancing.
Parks Director Jason Shuler has announced the closing all shelter houses, the disc golf course, the skate park, basketball courts, tennis courts, and horseshoe pits. He noted the walking trail will remain open.
Shuler reported the closures will remain in effect until the social distancing order is lifted. In addition, Shuler announced the city will be removing trash cans at Eastside Park and placing a dumpster in the Eastside parking lot for the public to use.
