Three Macon residents sustained injuries when a car overturned near Macon on Friday afternoon.

An ambulance transported driver 18-year-old Chloe Dailey to the Samaritan Hospital of Macon with moderate injuries. Passengers 18-year-old Kristeena Jaecques and 20-year-old James Yearwood sustained minor injuries and refused treatment at the crash scene.

The car traveled east on Jet Road before it reportedly failed to negotiate a curve about one mile from Macon, ran off the road, struck an embankment, and overturned.

The driver and passengers all wore seat belts and vehicle damage was extensive.

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Macon Rural Fire Department, and Macon County First Responders assisted at the scene of the crash.
