Several area schools extending closure to April 27th due to COVID-19

Several area school districts have extended their closures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

School districts extending their closures through April 24th include Chillicothe, Jamesport Tri-County, Gallatin, Braymer, Polo, and Southwest Livingston County of Ludlow. Those districts tentatively plan to resume classes on April 27th.

Chillicothe R-2 reports its meal program will continue through April 24th. Those interested in signing up for the program should visit the Chillicothe School District website or call 660-646-4566. Those already signed up will continue to receive the meals.

Braymer C-4 reports brown bag food service will be served for children one through 19 years old from 10 o’clock to 10:30 in the morning Monday through Friday. Anyone wanting to be added to the list is asked to come to the school during that time.
