Chillicothe and Lock Springs firefighters Saturday afternoon extinguished a grass fire in a pasture at 6093 Livingston County Road 516. The fire extended into a wooded area and burned approximately 15 acres. Chillicothe Fire Chief Darrell Wright said the landowner remained on the scene to monitor some smoldering trees.
