Clifford Thornburg appointed as Chariton County Prosecuting Attorney
Governor Eric Greitens has appointed a Salisbury man as the Chariton County Prosecuting Attorney. Clifford “Cliff” Thornburg will succeed Robert W. Wheeler who died last month. Thornburg is the attorney for the Ninth Circuit Juvenile Office, which covers Chariton, Linn, and Sullivan counties. He is also the principal attorney of his law office in Salisbury.
