Rosendale man injured in crash north of Stanberry

In an incident on the night of March 20, 2024, a 2005 Chevrolet Impala was involved in a serious accident off Highway 136, approximately 2 miles north of Stanberry, Missouri. The crash occurred at 9:18 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as Leslie W. Potts, 35, from Rosendale, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries in the unfortunate event. It was reported that the Chevrolet was traveling eastbound when it failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle veered off the north side of the road, struck a ditch, and came to a halt within the ditch, facing northeast.

Potts was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. He was transported to Mosaic of Albany by Grand River EMS for medical treatment.

The damaged vehicle was towed from the scene by Raymond Smith of Albany.

The Gentry County Sheriff’s Department alongside Grand River EMS provided necessary assistance at the crash site.
