Roxanne K Popken – age 68 of Jamesport, MO passed away Saturday morning February 24, 2024, at her home in Jamesport. Roxanne was born on June 1, 1955, the daughter of George and Emma (Westoff) Popken in Iowa. She grew up in Le Mars, IA, and was a 1973 graduate of Le Mars High School. She was of the Lutheran faith. Roxanne enjoyed antique shopping and collected kitchen prayer ladies. She loved 1955 Chevy cars and 1966 Chevy pickups. Roxanne will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Dennis Popken. She is survived by her longtime companion, Dennis Deiterman of Jamesport, MO; children, Laura Hofland (Mark) of Lemars, IA, Jacob Kuecker of Orange City, IA, stepchildren, Amanda Sowards of Lemars, IA, and Travis Deiterman (Julia) of Lemars, IA; grandchildren, Chris Lewis of Lemars, IA, DJ Hofland of Lemars, IA, and Brock Hofland of Lemars, IA; , Several great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; other extended family members also survive.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the donor’s choice in care of the funeral home. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Jamesport (660) 684-6133. O
