Jackie McKinney Patton, 72, of Princeton, MO, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Jackie was born on March 28, 1951, to Ferrell and Rachel (Wyatt) McKinney in Princeton, MO.
She graduated from Princeton R-5 School in 1970. Jackie lived in Princeton until the early 1980s, then moved to Kentucky where she married Dennis Patton in 1997. She returned to Princeton in 2008 following Dennis’ death.
Jackie enjoyed piecing quilts, reading, and solving jigsaw puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dennis; her brother, Ferrell Raymond “Bull” McKinney; and a brother-in-law, Bob Crites.
Jackie is survived by her sisters, Frances Nadine Crites of Columbia Station, OH, Norberta June (Duane) DeMoss of Princeton, MO, and Betty Suann (Rick) Nelson of Springville, IA; her brother, Royce Dee McKinney of Princeton, MO; her sister-in-law, Patty McKinney of Princeton, MO; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jackie has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home in Princeton, MO.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, at the Hal England Center in Princeton, MO. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Princeton, MO.
